General Session

Kscope is famous for its entertaining and informative General Sessions. Get off to a good start by attending the General Session on Monday afternoon. You’ll have fun and learn more about ODTUG. We will be making some big announcements (including the location of Kscope13), handing out awards, and, one lucky person in the audience will win a free registration to Kscope13! Get all the Scoop.
Keynote Presentation – Learning About Life Through Business and Software

To kick off the evening sessions, critically acclaimed author and Oracle ACE Director, Cary Millsap, will give a keynote address that will touch everyone’s life, Learning about Life Through Business and Software. Attend and you will be eligible to win special prizes.
APEX Open Mic Night
8:00 – 9:30 PM, Cibolo Canyon 5
Have you done something cool with APEX lately? Got a favorite feature that you think everyone should be using? Found a unique way to solve a problem? This is your chance to tell the world! APEX Open Mic Night will give you fifteen minutes to present your ideas and discoveries. Think of this as APEX meets Improv.

New to Kscope this year, the BI track will host a fun evening designed for one thing: interaction with your BI peers! You’ll be able to engage with experts, hear creative solutions from your peers, meet new people, and most of all, have fun. Don’t miss being a part of this new experience at Kscope.
EPM Midnight Madness
10:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Cibolo Canyon 7
Back by popular demand, the ODTUG Hyperion SIG will again hold Midnight Madness. This even will test your knowledge on key BI and EPM issues in a fun, interactive game show format. 2010’s Midnight Madness featured “Jeopardy.” Last year the challenge was “Family Feud.” This year’s format is a surprise!
Howl at the Moon
9:00 PM, Grand Oaks Foyer
At past Kscopes, several participants played impromptu games of Werewolf: The Game of Mob Rule. The game became an instant hit and a surprise networking vehicle.

Please go to the session 15 to 30 minutes before it starts and wait in line. We will check people in that have already signed up and then fill in the empty seats on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Please check the sign-up board posted by the Registration Desk to sign up to be an Ambassador. Ambassadors help distribute and collect session evaluations and are rewarded with an awesome Kscope Sheriff's badge.
