San Antonio International Airport (SAT)
San Antonio International Airport is located in Northern San Antonio, approximately eight miles or fifteen minutes from the downtown area. Loop 410 and U.S. 281 are the two highways providing access to the main entry points.
The airport provides daily and hourly parking for more than 7,076 vehicles, including designated parking for persons with disabilities. The first fifteen minutes of parking is free at all parking facilities. A new cell phone waiting lot is now available at the western end of airport property. Located at West Terminal Drive, the lot offers drivers a free place to park while waiting for their passenger. This service is intended for drivers and not passengers. All vehicles must remain attended while parked in the waiting lot.
SAT offers its patrons numerous services in both Terminals including a variety of restaurants and gift-shops. There are also ATMs, computer plug-ins and shoe-shine locations.
JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country - Home of Kscope12
The JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country is located twelve miles north of the San Antonio International Airport. The drive takes about twenty minutes. You have a couple of options for getting from the airport to the JW Marriott.

- Taxi - Taxis are available from the airport, just outside of baggage claim. Estimated taxi fare from the airport to the JW Marriott is $35 one way.
Getting to and around downtown San Antonio
Taxi: Approximate fares to the downtown business district of San Antonio from the JW Marriott are $45 one way. The drive takes about twenty minutes. Cabs are always available just outside the lobby.
Bicycle: Once in San Antonio, grab a bike! The city has a growing bicycle culture. As part of the international bikeshare movement, the city has installed kiosks at convenient spots around the downtown urban core. Rent or share a bike and hop on the nearly forty miles of urban bike trails to explore the city.
Streetcar: Downtown travel is a breeze on the streetcar, an open air, authentic reproduction of a rail streetcar which traveled the streets of San Antonio more than fifty years ago. Four streetcar routes stop at top sights like the Alamo, the Spanish Governor's Palace, La Villita, Sunset Station, the Southwest School of Art, the Institute of Texan Cultures, the King William Historic District, and downtown shopping. The downtown streetcar station at Convention Plaza provides convenient access for travelers. or purchase one at the Visitor Center. When you get in town, be sure to pick up a in the hotel lobby.
Sightseer Bus – Bus 7: runs daily between the city's favorite sites for one price. Locations visited by the Sightseer Special include: River Walk Streetcar Station, Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Alamo, San Antonio Museum of Art, Japanese Tea Garden, Brackenridge Park , San Antonio Zoo, Trinity University, University of the Incarnate Word, Witte Museum, and San Antonio Botanical Garden.
River Taxi: The River Taxi stops at numerous locations along the River Walk. . Look for the river cruiser with the black and yellow checkered flag.
