Cary Millsap Keynote Presentation,
"Learning about Life through Business
and Software"
7:00 - 8:00 PM
To kick off the evening sessions, critically acclaimed author and Oracle ACE Director, Cary Millsap, will give a keynote address that will touch everyone’s life, Business and Software. Cary wowed audiences at the 2011 UKOUG conference and RMOUG Training Days 2012. Attendees have been blogging and tweeting about his keynote for weeks. Cary will share ideas that he has learned about raising a family, running his own business, and vice versa. He will talk about why thinking clearly is more important than the right answer, how testing in schools should be more like good software testing, and why you should learn to love what you do even if you're not doing what you love. Cary Millsap is an entrepreneur, advisor, software developer, and Oracle performance specialist. He wrote Optimizing Oracle Performance. Cary's awards include: Oracle National Consultant of the Year 1993, Oracle Magazine Author of the Year 2004, Kscope Editor's Choice Best Paper 2010, Kscope Best Speaker Presentation and Delivery 2010, and Kscope Editor's Choice Best Technical Paper 2011. |
