Jay Laabs founded Blue Stone International, LLC in January 2005 and currently acts as the Managing Director. Mr. Laabs’ focus is on global business development and the overall operations of the firm. Prior to Blue Stone, Mr. Laabs was a Manager of the Strategic Finance consulting services group at Hyperion Solutions, as well as the group’s predecessor, the Alcar Group, which Hyperion acquired in 2003. Mr. Laabs was also a Director at Davis Capital, a boutique investment bank. Mr. Laabs has also worked within the export and trade finance group at Societe Generale, a leading European-based financial services firm. Mr. Laabs graduated with Bachelors of Business Administration degrees in Finance and International Business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
