Gary Adashek is currently the global Hyperion Planning administrator for GE HEALTHCARE. He is also a certified Microsoft Office specialist master instructor level. Gary's previous work experience has been for, but not limited to, Cargill, Coca-Cola, Miller Brewing, and Monster.com. In his current role he has received the Finance Visibility Project Execution Award, the CFO Award for Rigor, and the GE Salk 2 Award.

Opal Alapat is a consultant at TopDown Consulting. She has over ten years experience working with Oracle Hyperion applications. She has exceptional problem solving, analysis, and architecting skills with a strong technical background and years of financial experience across multiple industries. She specializes in architecture and management of Enterprise Performance Management and data integration solutions, specifically related to the Hyperion version 11 suite.

Dietmar Aust works as a freelance consultant in Germany, solely focusing on Oracle Application Express since 2006. Starting in 1997, he worked in Germany for three years as a consultant for Oracle. Since then, he helped numerous leading companies in Germany to successfully deliver Web-based applications based on the Oracle product stack, especially the Internet application server -Oracle Portal and Reports. He is a regular presenter at different Oracle conferences (ODTUG Kscope, OOW, DOAG), conducts training classes on APEX, and co-authored two books about APEX (Expert Oracle Application Express and Oracle APEX und Oracle XE in der Praxis).

Deb Ayers is a director for product management and responsible for Oracle Service Bus, a key component in the Fusion Middleware SOA Suite portfolio. Deb has over twenty years in the software industry in research, development, field engineering, and product management. Deb is credited with having strong technical vision and practical experience working with large, enterprise customers to deliver innovative solutions to real-world problems. Deb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Texas A & M University and a Master’s degree in engineering from University of Texas at Austin.

With more than ten years of practical experience in Oracle products, Zeeshan Baig has worked extensively with Oracle Fusion middleware, databases, and development tools. He is Oracle 8, 8i and 10g OCP DBA certified and is a regular blogger on Oracle Fusion middleware technologies at http://baigsorcl.blogspot.com. Raja Bandhakavi is a technical architect in Accenture's Oracle Business Intelligence practice. He has over seventeen years of IT consulting experience in leading large teams, managing BI programs, and delivering full life cycle, global projects involving BI/analytics/data warehouse solutions and enterprise CRM packages for Fortune 500 clients. He has worked with clients to execute strategy and approach for using analytics to deliver measurable and sustainable improvement. Raja holds a bachelor of technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India.

After joining Hyperion Consulting in 1999, Chris Barbieri helped launch Hyperion's Financial Management (HFM) product and has become a global expert on HFM application design and performance tuning. He served as senior product issues manager for HFM, Smart View, DRM, and Shared Services for over four years before joining Ranzal & Associates in 2007. Chris currently manages one of the largest HFM/FDM consulting practices, remains an active member of the product review team, and is an Oracle ACE for HFM.

Patrick Barel is a PL/SQL developer for AMIS Services (www.amis.nl) in the Netherlands. Besides working with SQL and PL/SQL, he co-developed CodeGen (codegen.inside.quest.com)and wrote different plug-ins (bar-solutions.com) for PL/SQL Developer (www.allroundautomations.com). Kim Berg-Hansen is a developer/architect at T. Hansen Gruppen A/S in Denmark, using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL since 2000. Kim specializes in doing it all in a single SQL statement wherever possible, and in answering questions in the SQL and PL/SQL forum on OTN.

Jonathan Berry is CEO and founder of Accelatis. Jonathan is the former engineering director for the HFM and FDM development teams. He is an original member of the HFM development team and spent eleven years intimately involved in the product creation and direction. He founded Accelatis to focus on Hyperion infrastructure management, system monitoring, and performance optimization to directly target the challenges faced by Oracle Hyperion administrators.

Keith is the domain lead for financial applications for US-Analytics. He has been working with Hyperion software for fourteen years and has been a Hyperion consultant for a decade. He has worked on a variety of Essbase and HFM projects, including a multi-year stint as technical architect for a large Hyperion implementation. Prior to joining US-Analytics, Keith worked for Hyperion/Oracle Consulting. He is a CPA and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Charles Beyer is the application development manager for Prescient Solutions. Beyer has thirteen years of diverse IT experience, including application development, database technologies, security, disaster recovery, networking, servers, technical support and management of technical resources. For the past six years, Beyer's primary focus has been to assist Prescient's enterprise customers in getting the most out of their Hyperion EPM products. As an advocate of knowledge sharing, he also serves as an adjunct instructor at a local community college, provides instructional content on the Prescient's blog in the areas of application development, security, and Hyperion EPM, and is a regular contributor to internet discussion forums such as the OTN.

John started his technical world building vinyl sign cutting systems (think a computer driven plotter with a swiveling knife), moving in 1992 to technical support, programming, and various quality assurance roles. He made the leap into the Hyperion world in 2005. Today, John is a Chicago-based infrastructure practice manager in addition to being a frequent contributor to both the Oracle and Network 54 Hyperion forums. John's nineteen-year IT career, most recently focusing on Oracle/Hyperion applications, provides a solid base of knowledge that he loves to share. Luc Bors has been working with Oracle Technology since 1997 and is a principal development consultant at AMIS, Nieuwegein (The Netherlands). He developed workshops and training on ADF/JHeadstart for AMIS and is an ADF instructor for Oracle University. Stephen Bowden leads the Business Intelligence practice for Peloton and has over ten years of experience leading BI and data warehouse initiatives across multiple technologies and industries. Key areas of focus include OBIEE, OBI Applications, Essbase, Planning, Informatica Powercenter, data architecture, and mobile BI. He holds an undergraduate degree from Babson College and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.

Matt Bradley joined Oracle UK straight out of college in the late 80's working within Oracle Consulting Services specifically in the Healthcare vertical and was involved in some very early EBS deployments. As Oracle moved towards establishing a presence within applications, Matt helped introduce some OEMs into the UK marketplace, ultimately leaving Oracle to join a small startup in the U.S. in the early 90's. After surviving several acquisitions and divestments, Matt ended up as a general manager within National Data Corporation providing packaged applications and transactional systems for the international healthcare market specifically within the world of HMO, PPOs, and their impact of hospital revenue and costs. From there he joined Quadramed as a VP of development managing a very geographically dispersed team of 150 engineers in the electronic medical records space. Quadramed grew by acquisitions and Matt’s role was geared towards bringing the smaller companies together to make the whole bigger than the sum of the parts. After leaving Quardamed in 2000, Matt joined Hyperion, where he helped introduce Hyperion Planning to the marketplace, led several initiatives to move from a point product strategy to more of a "system" strategy, established a 500+ multishore development presence, and recently a more centralized QE organization. Following the acquisition by Oracle in 2007, Matt has taken a leadership role in the EPM/BI engineering team assisting in establishing the joint product strategy.

Michelle is the Director of EPM services at Sirius Solutions in Houston, Texas.  She is a Certified Oracle Implementation Specialist for Hyperion Planning.  Her first introduction to Hyperion was eight years ago.  As a Budget Manager, she selected Hyperion Essbase and Planning as the tool of choice to replace the Excel spreadsheet method of budgeting her employer had been using.  Like many implementations, when the consulting company left, it was sink or swim.  After several calc scripts rewrites, it was a working solution.  Michelle has brought the same diligent testing attitude to her clients over the past six years and enjoys seeing clients benefit from the same efficiencies she experienced through Oracle Hyperion applications. 

Jordan Braunstein is a principal and practicing software architect at Visual Integrator Consulting. He is an Oracle Ace Director in Middleware and SOA, specializing in Enterprise Architecture, SOA, Cloud Computing, BPM, and Legacy Modernization. Having worked with over 100 customers across the globe on their integration, middleware, SOA and Cloud initiatives, Jordan's responsibilities include delivering tangible results and support to customers through consulting, education, and overall partnership support to ensure his clients achieve positive returns throughout their Software Architecture Journey. Jordan has worked on Oracle Fusion customers implementing SOA Suite, ADF-based applications, AIA Frameworks, and BPA suite. Prior to Visual Integrator Jordan started and managed BearingPoint's Public Services SOA practice, focusing on deriving value and hard-line results for defense and civilian government agencies, state and local governments, and higher education institutions. Prior to BearingPoint, Braunstein managed a consulting practice at webMethods/Active Software where he was responsible for starting the Professional Services SOA practice helping lead SOA engagements. Paul Broughton is an APEX developer working for APEX Evangelists. Paul learned APEX and Oracle at university, where he achieved a first class honors degree. As part of his university course, Paul undertook an internship / placement with APEX Evangelists where he focused on developing his APEX skills. Paul is now a full-time member of the APEX Evangelists team and works on a variety of different projects and products for a wide range of clients.

Stewart Bryson, a recipient of the Oracle ACE Award, is managing director for Rittman Mead America, and since 1996 has been designing, building and supporting complex database systems and data warehouses. Stewart has an expert-level understanding of the Oracle Database and BI stacks, and is experienced leading a project from initial scope to final delivery. Based in Atlanta, GA, Stewart has delivered projects of varying sizes across multiple verticals, including logistics, supply chain, hospitality, municipal government, retail, and clickstream. Stewart is a recognized writer and speaker in the Oracle community, and has presented at major conferences in the US, the UK, and Australia, including Oracle Open World, ODTUG Kscope, IOUG Collaborate, RMOUG Training Days, and UKOUG Conference and Exhibition.

Martin works as lead software architect for Avaloq, a provider of standardized banking software built on the Oracle RDBMS with 12 M lines of PL/SQL running on multi-terabyte databases of fifty customers. Together with two colleagues Martin defines the architecture and reviews the designs of 170 full-time PL/SQL developers, looking for simplicity, efficiency, and robustness. He was named PL/SQL Developer of the Year 2009, co-authored Expert PL/SQL Practices, and holds a PhD in computer science.

Karen Cannell is director of TH Technology, a small Oracle services consulting firm. She has analyzed, designed, developed, converted, enhanced, and otherwise tweaked database applications for more than twenty-five years, focusing on Oracle since 1994. Recent projects include design and development of ETL processes, Oracle Business Intelligence, Application Express, and migration of legacy apps to Web technologies, leveraging the Oracle 10g/11g suite of tools. Karen is co-author of Beginning Oracle Application Express and Agile Application Express. She supports user groups as a speaker, volunteer, and as editor of the ODTUG Technical Journal.

Chris Chase is the managing partner of The Bean Consulting Group and is a certified Hyperion Planning and Essbase professional with over twenty years of experience designing, developing, and implementing corporate IT solutions using OLAP and OLTP databases and object oriented programming languages. Chris has successfully managed multiple large-scale implementations and has previously presented to the OAUG on customization of the Hyperion Capital Expense Planning module and the use of Essbase to Manage Risk and Maintain Compliance in an Energy Trading Business.

Neela Chaudhari is a group product manager with Oracle Corporation. She has been with Oracle/Hyperion for the last nine years and has been primarily focused around BI and EPM, both in a sales capacity and product management. Her experience has centered around working with customers and making them successful.

Ashley Chen is a product manager for Database Tools at Oracle Corporation. She provides product support to customers and travels to conferences to speak about SQL Developer and SQL Developer Data Modeler. Ashley is based in the Pacific Northwest.

Karin Cheung is Sr. Principal Product Manager for Oracle Hyperion Disclosure Management from the Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management suite.  Prior to Oracle, Karin was Director of Solutions Architecture at UBmatrix, a leading XBRL software company.  Karin holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Srini Chinnam is a specialist master in Deloitte EPM practice with more than twelve years of consulting experience focused on delivering technology solutions to the finance, purchasing, and sales organization of large corporations. Srinivasa is a full solution specialist in the design and implementation of Oracle's Hyperion EPM Suite of products, leading several full life cycle implementations of Oracle EPM products--Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Workforce Planning, HFM, Essbase, Integration tools(FDM, ODI, EIS), Master Data Management (DRM) , EPMA and BI Reporting Tools (Financial Reporting, WebAnalysis, OBIEE+). Patrick Cimolini is a senior computer professional who reaches project goals by understanding and leveraging the relationship between people, procedures, and technology. Maria Colgan is a principal product manager at Oracle Corporation and has been with the company since version 7.3 was released in 1996. Maria's core responsibilities are data warehouse best practices and the Oracle Optimizer. Based on Maria's extensive experience in Oracle's Server Technology Performance Group, where she conducted competitive customer benchmarks and tuning sessions, Maria creates and lectures on data warehouse best practices and the Oracle Optimizer. Dave Collins began his career some twenty-five years ago at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a program manager for the company’s worldwide budgeting application. The application was hosted via Comshare, a time-sharing, then software provider. Dave later joined Comshare, working as a consultant, instructor, and sales engineer. The move to Comshare included an introduction to Arbor Essbase, the fledgling multidimensional database that helped create the On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) world. After Comshare, Dave served at a few Arbor and Hyperion partners specializing in Essbase implementations and education. Eventually Dave joined Hyperion, which was later acquired by Oracle. During his ten years at Hyperion and Oracle, Dave served as a global director, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM). Today, Dave assists the clients of Ernst & Young LLP as a senior manager, EPM.

Gary Crisci is a Business Intelligence professional with over fourteen years of finance and systems experience. Gary's current role is vice president of financial systems development for Morgan Stanley. He is an Oracle ACE and former president of the ODTUG Hyperion SIG, where he still participates as an active board member. Gary is extremely active in the online user community and has presented in previous years at Kscope conferences.

Ron Crisco works at Method R Corporation. He designs and develops software, manages products (like the Method R Profiler, MR Tools, and MR Trace), leads projects, and teaches courses. He recently co-authored Expert PL/SQL Practices. His specialty is simplifying complex work, which is especially valuable in helping the people around him accomplish extraordinary things. Ron has been a software designer, developer, and project leader working with Oracle databases since 1990.

Iain Curtain is a Hyperion consultant at Edgewater Ranzal, currently developing planning and reporting systems for clients. Iain has worked with Essbase for over ten years. Previously, Iain was at Sun Microsystems, where he helped develop their global financial reporting solution utilizing Essbase and Hyperion System 9. Iain has been a regular speaker at the UK Oracle User Group Hyperion events, and presented at the OAUG Connection Points in Seattle and Atlanta in 2011.

Martin D'Souza is a co-founder and CTO at ClariFit, a consulting firm which specializes in APEX and PL/SQL. Martin's experience has been focused on developing database-centric Web applications using Oracle APEX. Martin is the author of the blog www.TalkApex.com, and has co-authored and authored various APEX books. He has also presented at numerous international conferences such as APEXposed, COUG, and ODTUG Kscope, for which he won the Presenter of the Year award in 2011.

Marc de Oliveira is a business analyst, a system analyst, an information modeler, and an enterprise architect. He is currently working as a freelance analyst and was a director on the ODTUG board for eight years until 2010. Marc possesses a M.Sc. in computer science from the University of Copenhagen from 1992, and has been working as an analyst, information modeler, system developer, and system architect for the past twenty years, primarily in Oracle environments. He is a regular presenter at conferences in Denmark and abroad and has written many technical articles for both the ODTUG Technical Journal and OracleEkspert Magazine. Adam Debowski has worked at TGG for over three years and his main focus has been on financial consolidation and custom HFM business rule design. Adam holds a computer engineering degree.

Natalie Delemar is a consultant with Ernst & Young and has been working with Essbase since 1999. Prior to becoming a consultant in 2010, she was an Essbase Developer for Bellsouth and has held roles as Hyperion administrator and Hyperion systems manager at various companies. She has been a volunteer with ODTUG since 2008 and currently serves as Kscope12's EPM/BI content chair.

Dominic Delmolino has been using Oracle since 1990 and spent ten years working as part of the Oracle System Performance Group and five years as the senior director of database engineering at Network Solutions. Currently, Dominic a vice president of data architecture and engineering at Agilex Technologies.

Dwight deVera is senior vice president responsible for solutions delivery at arcplan, a Business Intelligence solutions provider. An acknowledged expert in the Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing community, Dwight is an accomplished speaker and presenter at events including Oracle Open World and various Oracle Users Group conferences nationwide. He is also a frequent presenter on technical Webinars covering mobile BI, cloud BI, and dashboard best practices.

Jean-Pierre Dijcks is a senior principal product manager in Oracle's data warehousing group. After earning a degree in industrial engineering from the University of Twente in the Netherlands, Jean-Pierre joined Oracle Netherlands as a data warehouse consultant working on data warehouse implementations throughout Europe. In late 2000, he moved to Oracle product development as a product manager for Oracle Warehouse Builder. Leveraging his experience in data warehousing, data integration, and data quality, Jean-Pierre is currently one of the product managers for Oracle's data warehouse portfolio, including Exadata Database Machine--Oracle's offering in the space of extreme performance, large-scale data warehouses. Within this group, Jean-Pierre is responsible for the parallel processing functionality in the Oracle Database.

Greg Dill is responsible for project delivery and architecting integrated Oracle and Hyperion solutions for FlameBridge. He uses his diverse skills, client focus, and extensive network of experienced associates to forge a brand of exemplary delivery. Greg brings to the FlameBridge team over seventeen years of management consulting, project and technical leadership, and support for the successful implementation of EPM, BI, and ERP solutions for Fortune 500 clients across varied industries including finance, insurance, manufacturing, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, retail, and telecommunications.

Rob Donahue is a senior management consultant at Rolta TUSC and specializes in infrastructure and architecture with an emphasis on Oracle EPM systems. Rob has over sixteen years of experience delivering enterprise solutions utilizing his expertise in systems architecture, performance testing, and capacity planning. He has been applying this experience to leading the successful implementation of large and complex enterprise systems including Hyperion / Oracle EPM environments. These implementations have spanned across industries and have included Fortune 250 retailers and financial services companies.

Mike Donohue has over twenty years of industry experience in QA, development, support, and product management.

Paul Dorsey is president of Dulcian, Inc., an Oracle consulting firm specializing in business rules and Web-based application development, and chief architect of Dulcian's BRIM® tool. Paul co-authored seven Oracle Press books on JDeveloper, UML Modeling, and Oracle Database Tools as well as PL/SQL For Dummies. He is an Oracle ACE, past IOUG and ODTUG volunteer of the year, and one of the original Oracle 9i Certified Masters. Paul's submission of a survey generator, built to collect data for the Preeclampsia Foundation, was the winner of the 2007 Oracle Fusion Middleware Developer Challenge, and Oracle selected him as the 2007 PL/SQL Developer of the Year.

Susan is a Principal Product Manager in the Tools Development group at Oracle, specializing in Application Lifecycle Management, Team Development and ADF. She joined Oracle UK Consulting in 1997 and worked on various projects worldwide designing, promoting standards and implementing Oracle Designer and Forms Server applications. In 2001 she joined Product Management focusing on Oracle Designer and UML in JDeveloper. From 2002 Susan was closely involved in the development of JDeveloper's support for Web services and SOA. More recently she has focused her attention and skills on versioning systems, database modeling, XML and Application Lifecycle Management, including the development of Oracle Team Productivity Center and working as a Product Manager for the Hudson CI open source community as part of the Oracle team.

Quinlan began his career in financial and consolidations systems at Citibank as a financial analyst in Singapore where he pioneered the use of Essbase for Citicorp as a corporate standard. He joined Arbor Software in 1994, prior to its IPO and subsequent merger with Hyperion Solutions. In 1998 he founded OLAP Online, a consulting company based in Tokyo, Japan. Since then he has been one of the leading consultants in the Hyperion EPM market until 2004 when he founded Star Analytics. He has over 20 years of experience with the Oracle Hyperion product suite which has been a driving force of product strategy at Star Analytics. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.

Paul English brings over twenty years of experience as a key member of SC&H Consulting’s Business Performance Management group. Paul’s comprehensive background covers the design, implementation, and maintenance of Hyperion applications, with particular specialization in budgeting and planning solutions. Among his accomplishments in working with government contractors are designing and implementing an indirect cost rate model reducing the planning effort for a government contractor from a three-month to a three-week process. Additionally, the new approach delivered detailed “what if” features previously only possible through very high level spreadsheets.

Jonathan Etkin is a director in the consulting practice at Performance Architects, with over seventeen years of experience in finance, accounting, and consulting in the Business Intelligence and Performance Management arenas at organizations including Avon, ISA Consulting (now Ernst & Young), and Ranzal (now Edgewater Technology). Jonathan holds a BS in finance from the State University of New York at Albany and an MS in information systems from Pace University.

Steven Feuerstein is considered to be one of the world's leading experts on the Oracle PL/SQL language, having written ten books on PL/SQL, including Oracle PL/SQL Programming and Oracle PL/SQL Best Practices. Steven has been developing software since 1980, spent five years with Oracle (1987-1992), and has served as PL/SQL Evangelist for Quest Software since January 2001. He is an Oracle ACE Director and writes regularly for Oracle Magazine, which named him the PL/SQL Developer of the Year in both 2002 and 2006. He is also the first recipient of ODTUG's Lifetime Achievement Award (2009). John Flack is a database administrator, architect, and developer experienced in all phases of software design, system implementation, and database conversions. In recent years he has been acting as an internal consultant on projects at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, especially the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. He also does work for a few other clients in both the U.S. government and other organizations. John was the winner of the ODTUG Kaleidoscope 2008 Editor's Choice Award. He was named an Oracle ACE in June 2010.

David Folk leads Oracle's ADF Mobile product management team. This team's objective is to create tools and frameworks that bring Oracle Fusion based applications to mobile devices with a focus on reuse and consistency with existing development methodologies. Previously David led the NetBeans engineering organization. David has a long history in developer tools both in product management and engineering roles. His passion is shipping tools that address real-world use cases end-to-end.

Joshua Forrest is a manager within the EPM practice at Rolta. With over ten years of experience in the IT industry including work in multiple vertical markets, Joshua assists organizations with financial solutions involving technologies such as Oracle/Hyperion Essbase, Planning, and Reporting. He routinely operates as a lead reporting architect while subsequently leading design and development activities surrounding budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions. Tim Fox has been using Oracle since version 5 in 1989. At that time, the Oracle Forms version was 1.x and procedural code had not yet arrived. Since that time, Tim has been constantly involved in projects where some version of an Oracle database or development tool was being used. Tim has worked in corporate IT for the State of Indiana and The Associates, spent ten years as a manager at Anderson Consulting/Accenture, and is currently the Director of Development at Enkitec, a Dallas-based Oracle services provider. While at Enkitec, Tim has been an instrumental figure in development projects across dozens of companies and has greatly assisted in the uptake of Oracle Application Express. Holger Friedrich serves as chief technology officer of sumIT AG. sumIT is a Swiss consulting company, focused on data warehousing and Business Intelligence, employing Oracle technology. After obtaining a computer science diploma and a doctoral degree in robotics, machine learning, and data mining, Holger worked for several years in industrial research, before co-founding sumIT AG. Doug Gault has been working with Oracle since 1988 starting with version 5.1B, SQL*Forms 2.0, and RPT/RPF. Since then he has focused his career on Oracle's development technologies, spending the last decade on Web-based technologies, and the last five years specifically on HTML DB/APEX. Prior to joining Sumner Technologies, Doug was the product development director for Hotsos Enterprises, during which time he was the lead architect/developer and product manager for two commercial products written exclusively in APEX. His twenty-one years of Oracle experience have taken him all over the world and involved him in some truly ground-breaking projects. Kent Graziano is the owner of Data Warrior LLC in The Woodlands, Texas. Rick Greenwald has been active in the world of computer software for more than two decades, including stints with Data General, Cognos, Gupta, Salesforce, and Oracle. He is currently a director of Database Cloud Initiatives in the Application Express development organization at Oracle Corporation. He has been a principal author of nineteen books and countless articles on a variety of technical topics, and has spoken at conferences and training sessions across six continents. Erica Harris is the senior Oracle DBA at Waikato Regional Council New Zealand. She has been managing Oracle databases since 1996 and these days is primarily responsible for upgrades, data fixes, performance tuning, performance troubleshooting, and system integration. She is also responsible for the administration of Hyperion Interactive Reporting and Hyperion Planning and indulges her developer tendencies by creating applications using Application Express. Erica is the secretary of the New Zealand Oracle Users Group and has been involved in the Oracle user community in New Zealand since 1998.

Brian Healey is a data integration specialist with more than fourteen years experience in technology. He has worked as a Hyperion consultant for over six years. Brian has worked with customers to implement data marts and ETL solutions to provide data and reporting solutions to various Hyperion applications. He helps customers improve design and quality of data through the use of databases, ETL and custom scripting. Christina (Gibb) Kolotouros has been with Oracle for eighteen years, most of that time with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. She has worked very closely with the Data Mining, OLAP, and Data Warehousing teams. Prasad Kulkarni works as senior director of Development (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting) at Oracle.  At Oracle he leads an engineering organization responsible for development of Oracle Hyperion Enterprise Planning and Budgeting solutions. Tom Kyte is a senior technical architect in Oracle's server technology division. Before starting at Oracle, Tom worked as a systems integrator building large-scale, heterogeneous databases and applications, mostly for military and government customers. Tom spends a great deal of time working with the Oracle Database and, more specifically, working with people who are working with the Oracle Database. Jay Laabs founded Blue Stone International, LLC in January 2005 and currently acts as the Managing Director. Mr. Laabs’ focus is on global business development and the overall operations of the firm. Glenn Schwartzberg has been an IT professional for over twenty-five years as a developer and DBA (in other words he is old). His emphasis has been on BI for the last seventeen years, specifically utilization of Essbase to solve business problems. For his expertise in Hyperion products he was designated as an Oracle ACE Director in BI. He has worked in a broad range of industries including retail, banking, health care, semi-conductor, and manufacturing to help clients create solutions to their analysis, forecasting, and reporting needs. He teaches Essbase classes and is always willing to help people solve their problems. Toward this end he is a frequent contributor to the Oracle forum and the Network 54 forum. John Edward Scott has been using Oracle since version 7 (around 1993), and has used pretty much every release since then. Magdalena Serban is product manager for PITSS, where she stands for the new Web based technologies, including the implementation of the automated Forms to ADF and Forms to APEX conversion modules. Mehmet Sevinc has been an Oracle Hyperion consultant for nearly five years. He has been involved in various Hyperion projects that enabled him to learn Planning, Essbase, HFM, FDM, HPCM, DRM, Smart View, Web Analysis, Financial Reporting Studio, and classic Excel Add-in. Marc Sewtz is a software development manager for Oracle Application Express (APEX) in the Database Tools Group, part of Oracle Server Technologies. Marc has fourteen years of industry experience, including roles in consulting, sales, and development and joined Oracle in 1998. Marc manages a global team of APEX developers and product managers and is responsible for product features such as Oracle Forms to APEX conversion, the APEX reporting engine, tabular forms, PDF printing and the integration with Oracle BI Publisher. Markus Shipley has over fifteen years of professional experience in the areas of IT, finance, accounting, and financial reporting during which he has developed and deployed solutions to move organizations and departments forward. Richard Solari is a specialist leader at Deloitte Consulting. His primary area of responsibility is the Oracle BI/DW service line with a strong focus and expertise on Oracle Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies and applications (OBIEE, OBIA) and Oracle Analytics. For more than twenty-one years Richard has led or contributed to dozens of large enterprise global transformational Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and advanced analytics projects worldwide in a wide range of industries for clients. Brian Spendolini currently is the director of development services at JSA2 Solutions. Here he is concentrating on user experience and front-end application design using Application Express. Previously, Brian was at Oracle Corporation for ten years in a variety of positions and organizations.

Scott Spendolini is a director and co-founder at Sumneva, a world-class Oracle Application Express (APEX) consulting, training, and solutions firm founded in 2010. He has assisted a number of clients from various verticals with their Oracle APEX development and training needs. Scott has presented at a number of Oracle-related conferences, including Oracle OpenWorld, ODTUG Kscope, and IOUG and is a regular contributor to the Oracle APEX Forums on OTN. Payal Srivastava is product strategy director at Oracle for the BPM & SOA suite of products. Payal has extensive experience in real-time event processing and analytics technologies—CEP, BAM, RFID, BPM, SOA, Business Rules, and BI. Prior to joining Oracle, Payal led the development of several enterprise software solutions for Telecom, Retail, and an RFID solution designed and deployed for large-scale customers such as Department of Defense (DoD), British Telecom, and Nescafe. She has led product management and pre-sales organizations for multi-million dollar product portfolios for successful software startups. Payal has a BS in computer science and an MBA from Haas Business School at UC Berkeley.

Tim St. Hilaire has been working with Oracle as a developer, integrator, and architect for over ten years. His most recent focus is on the APEX tool set and integration opportunities available both internally and externally. Greg Stachnick is a senior director of product management in the development tools division at Oracle. Evan Thayer is a senior manager of financial analysis supporting Capital Markets at E*TRADE Financial. Evan is responsible for planning and reporting for a nearly $50 billion balance sheet. In addition to his core FP&A responsibilities, Evan is the administrator for a capital markets Essbase application and power-user/subject matter expert for Essbase and Planning. Most recently, Evan led an effort to re-design multiple allocation processes and deploy a new Essbase cube for the technology organization. Danny Tijerina has spent the past seventeen years focusing on financial consolidations and reporting. He spent fifteen years in various accounting roles such as financial consolidation analyst, general ledger manager, and financial reporting manager. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Danny led long-range financial consolidation and reporting projects for large multi-national companies as a consulting technical director for Oracle\Hyperion. In his role with Oracle\Hyperion, Danny was inspirational in developing industry standard processes, within Hyperion Financial Management, for Cash Flow, Cumulative Translation Adjustment, Statutory Consolidations, and reporting on percent ownership. Tim Tow is the founder and president of Applied OLAP, Inc. Tim has been a speaker at Arbor, Hyperion, and Oracle conferences since 1996 and is a frequent speaker at regional user group meetings. Tim is a member of the Board of Directors of the Oracle Development Tools User Group and an Oracle ACE Director. Jake Turrell is a senior solution architect and project manager with over eighteen years experience specializing in the implementation of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and related technologies. Jake's technology career began in the early 90's as a financial systems intern at Dell in Austin, Texas, administering IMRS Micro Control (the DOS-based predecessor to Hyperion Enterprise). After working at Dell, Jake joined Ernst & Young's management consulting practice where he worked with a variety of technologies before returning to the Hyperion world and joining a boutique Hyperion partner consulting firm in Dallas, Texas. Greg Vlahos is President of Analytic Vision, a full service Business Intelligence and Performance Management consulting firm. 2012 marks Rich Wilkie's twelfth year at Oracle, beginning as a solutions consultant at Hyperion Solutions and rising through the ranks of Enterprise Performance Management at both Hyperion and Oracle to his current role of senior director of Product Management. Jim Wilking is a senior BI/EPM consultant at HCG with over seven years of experience working with Oracle Hyperion applications providing solutions in large corporate finance environments. Balaji previously held the position of senior vice president and general manager for Content Management and Archiving Division, at EMC Corporation. Earlier, Balaji served as vice president of Products for Documentum Inc. with responsibility for all of the company’s product lines. Balaji has more than twenty years of development, marketing, and management experience in the software industry. He has a strong background and deep knowledge of the enterprise software industry and its ecosystem. Prior to Documentum, Balaji was at Rational Software Corporation (now part of IBM) and Electronic Data Systems (now part of HP), in a variety of development, marketing, and market development areas. Balaji holds an MS in engineering from the Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge and an MBA from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
